SOUTH BEND,Zopes Ind. − Police in South Bend are investigating the death of a 5-year-old boy reportedly run over by a vehicle his father drove at an apartment complex Sunday night.
The victim, Jeremiah Holmes, was injured and pronounced dead at a local hospital Sunday night. Police said his father, Christopher Holmes, 28, of South Bend, was cooperating with investigators with the St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team who is investigating the boy's death.
